Outside work
Together with my wife, I am raising three daughters. Outside work: running, boxing, cycling, skiing and DNA genealogy.

The long distance makes sense to me
As a child I did judo and sambo. Today my main interests are running, boxing, cycling and skiing.
I run on tarmac and off-road. In races what I value is not the medal at the finish but the work on the course itself: pacing your effort, not falling apart after a mistake and keeping moving.
Selected distances
Selected races: half marathons, marathons, mountain races and ultra distances.

The woods near home
I live next to a forest and spend a lot of time there. If I see litter I pick it up; in winter I sometimes feed the squirrels.
There is no public office behind this. It is simply a place near home that I would like to keep alive.
The story of the park
In the autumn of 2025 the outlet 164.ru wrote about an old oak in Tin-Zin park. The tree was added to the register of remarkable trees of Russia.

DNA genealogy and archives
My grandfather, Arslan Sagidullovich Kinzyabulatov, was a front-line soldier and a holder of the Order of Glory; I am named after him.
The interest in family roots comes from DNA genealogy, studying archival documents and looking for documented links between generations.
I work with parish registers, 19th-century revision lists, military and filtration records, Soviet-era documents, and state archives in Russia and Belarus. My research draws on materials from Arolsen Archives, the International Committee of the Red Cross, Belarusian archives, including KGB archival records, the Central Archive of the FSB, and regional Interior Ministry and Federal Penitentiary Service archives.
DNA testing helps me verify documentary family lines; it does not replace historical records. Comparing documents with DNA results helps confirm kinship, recover lost lines and separate family legend from established fact.
QY9882850The fate of my grandmother and her family
A separate part of this research is reconstructing the fate of my grandmother, Maria Ilyinichna Komissarova, and her family. During the occupation, family members were arrested and sent to the Polotsk concentration camp for their links to Belarusian partisans. Her father, my great-grandfather Ilya Vasilyevich Komissarov, died in 1944 in a forced-labour camp in Germany. Filtration files, Red Cross records, Arolsen Archives and Belarusian archival materials are gradually helping me reconstruct the lives of relatives and disrupted family branches.
Documents the family archive never held
Archival research sometimes recovers more than names and dates — it returns unique documents that were never part of the family archive. My grandfather Arslan Sagidullovich Kinzyabulatov’s personal file preserved a handwritten autobiography. The records trace his path from a peasant family and collective-farm work to the management of machine and tractor stations. In 1937, his appointment as an MTS director was considered at the level of the Central Committee of the All-Union Communist Party (Bolsheviks).

Another remarkable find is a photograph of my grandmother Maria Ilyinichna Komissarova attached to a 1946 interrogation record following her liberation and return to the Soviet Union. Documents like these let you see a person whose image might otherwise never have survived in family memory.
